🤎 COOPER — THE SPLASH-HAPPY GOOFBALL 🤎
Looking for a puppy that brings the fun wherever he goes? Meet Cooper.
This 7-month-old pittie mix is all about playtime, good vibes, and living life to the fullest. If there’s water nearby—pool, puddle, bowl—you can bet Cooper is checking it out (and probably splashing in it). He’s the kind of pup that keeps you smiling without even trying.
Cooper loves other dogs and thrives on play and interaction. He’s crate trained, kennel trained, and working hard on his potty training (almost there!). Like any puppy, he’s still learning the ropes—leash walking, routines, and all the basics—but he’s food motivated and eager to please.
He can be a little unsure with new people at first, but a few treats later and he’s your new best friend.
💛 7 months old
💛 Pit bull mix
💛 Not neutered yet (rescue will complete)
💛 Needs final vaccines
💛 Dog friendly
💛 Crate trained
💛 Working on potty training
If you’re looking for a playful, goofy, water-loving companion—Cooper is your guy.

🤎 SAHARA — THE SWEET SNUGGLE BUG 🤎
If you’re looking for the soft, soulful type—meet Sahara.
This 7-month-old pittie mix is the more sensitive one of the group. She can be a little shy at first and prefers slower introductions, but once she feels safe, she turns into the biggest cuddle bug. She’s the kind of dog that bonds deeply and becomes your shadow.
Sahara has done well with other dogs, but benefits from a proper, slower introduction. Once she’s comfortable, she plays and interacts just fine.
She’s crate trained, kennel trained, and working on potty training (almost there!). Like her brothers, she’s still learning leash skills and everyday routines.
💛 7 months old
💛 Pit bull mix
💛 Not spayed yet (rescue will complete)
💛 Needs final vaccines
💛 Dog friendly with slow introductions
💛 Crate trained
💛 Working on potty training
If you want a loyal, affectionate companion who just wants to be close to her person—Sahara is your girl.

MEET RICKY
Ricky is a happy, energetic 7-month-old puppy who is ready to finally experience what being part of a family is all about! This handsome boy is full of personality, playful energy, and so much potential.
Ricky loves attention, enjoys being around people, and is excited to learn all the things a young puppy should. He’s still working on his manners and basic training, but he is eager, smart, and would thrive with a family willing to give him structure, consistency, and lots of love.
He does well with kids and other dogs and would likely enjoy having a playful canine companion. Ricky would love an active home where he can get plenty of exercise, playtime, adventures, and cuddle time after a fun day.
Like many puppies his age, Ricky is still learning about the world around him and will need continued guidance to help him grow into the amazing dog we know he can be. With patience and love, this sweet boy is going to make an incredibly loyal and fun companion.
If you’re looking for a young dog with a big heart and a lifetime of love to give, Ricky may be your perfect match!

MEET WOLF
An 8-month-old puppy who is finally getting the chance to learn what being a loved family dog is all about. ![]()
Wolf’s story is heartbreaking. For much of his young life, he spent up to 15 hours a day confined to a crate. While other puppies were learning, exploring, and making memories, Wolf was simply waiting.
And yet somehow, this sweet boy still loves people.
8 months old Potty trained Great with kids Great with other dogs Cats unknown Crate trained, though his current caretakers haven’t needed to use one—and after spending so much time in a crate before, he’s likely grateful for the freedom
Despite everything he’s been through, Wolf is a happy, loving puppy who is ready to leave his past behind and start his real life.
He deserves a family that will show him that dogs are meant to be more than just a crate in the corner. He deserves walks, toys, belly rubs, adventures, and a couch to crash on after a long day of being a puppy.
His foster is moving and can’t take him with them, so we need to find this sweet boy a great forever home.
Can you be the person who gives Wolf the life he’s always deserved?

MEET ZEUS
Zeus doesn’t need much.
A quiet home.
A fenced yard.
A soft bed.
A patient person willing to give him the time he needs to trust.
At 5 years old, Zeus has already survived more than any dog should. He isn’t looking for adventure or excitement. He’s looking for peace.
He may never be the dog that jumps into your lap for cuddles.
But maybe one day he’ll choose to lay nearby.
Maybe one day he’ll look at you and know he’s safe.
And for a dog who once had every reason not to trust, that’s everything.
Potty trained
Loves his crate
No children
No other animals
Calm, experienced home required
Somewhere out there is the person Zeus has been waiting for.

MEET SCOOTER
Hi friends! My name is Scooter, and I am approximately 33 pounds of pure puppy happiness, enthusiasm, and fun.
I’m a 6–8 month old Boston Terrier/Lab-ish mix who believes every day should include running, playing, making new friends, and preferably swimming. Seriously… if there’s water involved, count me in!
Here’s my résumé:
Dog approved (although I am still a mouthy puppy, so I’m working on my manners)
Cat approved (I like to follow them around because they’re fascinating little creatures)
Kid craziness approved
Crate trained (I complain briefly about my imprisonment, then accept my fate and take a nap)
Mostly potty trained (the occasional accident has usually involved a human making poor life choices)
Professional tail wagger
Expert zoomie performer
I am a super sweet little guy who would absolutely LOVE a home with another playful dog friend. Having a buddy to wrestle, play, and burn off some of this puppy energy with would be a dream come true!
At just 33 pounds, I’m the perfect size—not too big, not too small, just enough puppy to keep life exciting.
If you’re looking for a goofy, happy, water-loving best friend who will make you laugh every single day, I think we should meet.
Love,
Scooter

Meet Daisy 🌼
If you're looking for a happy, easygoing companion to complete your family, Daisy might just be your perfect match!
Daisy is an 8-month-old Beagle mix who weighs about 35 pounds and has been absolutely thriving in her foster home. She has settled beautifully into a routine and is proving to be a wonderful young dog with so much love to give.
This sweet girl is potty trained, crate trained, and has excellent house manners for her age. She is affectionate, playful, and loves being part of whatever her people are doing. Daisy has a joyful personality and brings a little extra sunshine everywhere she goes.
Daisy is wonderful with kids and cat friendly, making her an excellent addition to many family situations. While she can be introduced to other dogs, a meet and greet will be required for any potential canine siblings. We would especially love to see Daisy in a home with children and maybe even another playful doggy friend to romp around with.
Because she has a curious Beagle spirit and enjoys exploring, a fully fenced yard is required so she can safely run, play, and enjoy being a dog.
Daisy is still young enough to enjoy all of life's adventures with her forever family, but she's already past some of the more challenging puppy stages. She's truly the best of both worlds: playful and energetic while also learning how to be a wonderful house companion.
If you're looking for a sweet, affectionate girl who will happily become part of your family, Daisy is ready to meet you.
Daisy's Highlights:
🐾 8 months old
🐾 Female Beagle mix
🐾 Approximately 35 lbs
🐾 Potty trained
🐾 Crate trained
🐾 Kid friendly
🐾 Cat friendly
🐾 Dog introductions require a meet & greet
🐾 Fully fenced yard required

Meet Alice!
She was surrendered with her brother, set to be euthanized, but
her life was saved!
What we know about Alice
- She was mostly kept in a crate and then lived in a car. I do
not crate her. I gated her in a room by herself.
- Has never gone outside for potty. So, she has never walked on grass. So, we
are working on potty training.
- She has never worn a collar or been on a leash. She now wears a collar every
day, and we are working on walking on a leash, which is still very scary for
her.
- She comes very well on command, she sits, and we are
working on stay. It's very hard because she wants to stand and wiggle her butt.
Oh, her tail is like a whip when she is happy and wiggling.
- I don’t know how she is around cats, but I know she chases
squirrels.
- We think she is about 1 yr to 14 months. She is up to
date on all her vaccines.
Whoever wants to adopt her will need to give her time to
adapt, I can't stress this enough!!!! She is very scared around new people; you will have to let her
come to you!!!. She may growl or bark, but absolutely has ZERO aggression. So,
she needs to come close to you on her time. Once she is comfortable with
you, she will be glued to your side. She is very happy and just gushes love! She
loves playing with her foster brother and sisters, which are a Shepherd, Bully,
and a Pug. They are teaching her how fun it is to be outside, playing outside,
potty outside, and had her first little pool experience. They all play very nicely
with each other, and all snuggle together.

Meet Darla! ❤️
This beautiful 2-year-old Great Dane is ready to find the forever family she's been waiting for.
Darla is everything people love about Great Danes—sweet, goofy, affectionate, and delightfully clumsy. She is full of playful energy and absolutely loves stretching those long legs with some classic Great Dane zoomies before settling down to spend time with her favorite humans.
Darla adores people and truly thrives on human companionship. She loves being part of the family and will happily follow you around, always wanting to know what you're up to.
While she loves her people, Darla prefers to be the only animal in the home. She isn't interested in sharing her space with other dogs or cats and will be happiest when she can soak up all the love and attention for herself. Because of her size and enthusiasm, she is looking for a home with children 15 years and older.
This young girl still has plenty of energy and needs a secure fenced yard where she can safely run, play, and simply enjoy being a dog. Apartment living is not the right fit for Darla.
Darla has already experienced enough transitions in her short life, and what she needs most now is a family committed to giving her the stability, patience, and unconditional love she deserves.
If you're looking for a loyal best friend, a giant cuddle buddy, and a dog that will make you laugh every single day, Darla may be your perfect match.
Darla's ideal home:
🐾 2-year-old Great Dane
🐾 Loves people
🐾 Only pet in the home (no dogs or cats)
🐾 Kids 15+ only
🐾 Secure fenced yard required
🐾 Playful, goofy, and affectionate
🐾 Ready for her forever family

MEET LUNA
Meet Luna… also known as Miss Ham.
You know those dogs that make everyone smile the second they walk into a room? That’s Luna.
Luna’s story didn’t start the way it should have. She and her sister Roxy were found locked in the basement of Detroit’s old Cooley High School. But Luna refuses to let her past define her. Instead, she has decided that every day is the best day ever.
Seriously… this girl has never met a stranger. Not one.
Dogs? Friends.
Cats? Friends.
New people? Future best friends.
Bugs? Must be chased.
Birds? Also must be chased.
Random stick she found in the yard? Her greatest treasure.
Luna is housebroken, crate trained for up to 8 hours, and has enough personality to keep you laughing for years. She loves treats, plushy toys, belly rubs, carrying sticks around the yard like she’s won an Olympic event, and laying directly on your feet because personal space is apparently overrated.
The best way to describe Luna is fearless. Thunder? Whatever. New places? Let’s go. Strange noises? Who cares. This girl tackles life with her whole heart and a giant goofy grin.
What Luna does need is a fenced yard where she can run, zoom, chase birds, hunt bugs, and live her best “Miss Ham” life.
She’s sweet. She’s hilarious. She’s confident. She’s everything people say they’re looking for in a dog.
So our question is…
Who’s gonna be the lucky family to adopt this amazing girl??
Located in Westland, MI.
Ready to add a little extra joy, laughter, and ham-like behavior to your life?

Meet Angus ❤️
Some dogs come into rescue carrying baggage. Angus came carrying resilience.
At just 1 year old, this handsome American Bulldog was found abandoned in Rouge Park—thin, beat up, exhausted, and left to fend for himself. He had every reason to be scared of the world, but instead, Angus chose kindness.
This sweet boy may be a little shy when meeting new people, but it only takes a few minutes before he decides you're a friend. Once that happens, prepare to gain a loyal sidekick who wants to be wherever you are.
At around 35-40 pounds, Angus is the perfect medium-sized companion. He's sturdy enough for adventures but compact enough to fit comfortably into everyday family life.
And speaking of adventures… Angus LOVES them.
He's fantastic on a leash, rides beautifully in the car, and absolutely lights up when volunteers take him on day trips. Whether it's exploring a park, going for a walk, or simply tagging along for errands, Angus is happiest when he's included.
But don't worry—he's not all go, go, go. Angus has mastered the art of being a couch potato too. After a fun day, he's more than happy to curl up nearby and relax.
Since moving into a foster home, Angus has been thriving. He's enjoying having foster fur siblings and has shown us that he truly loves being part of a family.
Angus is:
🐾 1 year old
🐾 American Bulldog
🐾 Approximately 35-40 pounds
🐾 Potty trained
🐾 Great in the house
🐾 Up to date on vaccines
🐾 Neutered
🐾 Microchipped
🐾 Dog friendly
Because Angus is still a young, playful guy, he would do best with a dog his size or larger that can match his energy and play style. A fully fenced yard is required.
What Angus wants most isn't complicated.
He wants a family.
A family that will take him on adventures. A family that will let him nap on soft beds. A family that will never make him wonder where he'll sleep at night ever again.
After everything he's been through, we think that's the very least this incredible boy deserves. ❤️

Fostering a pet is a great way to provide temporary care for an animal in need. It also helps us free up space in our shelter for more animals. Fill out the application below.
Hi… my name is Nala.
I’m not the loud dog in the room.
I’m not the one bouncing at the door.
I’m the one watching.
The one learning.
The one trying to be brave.
For the first two years of my life, I lived outside. I didn’t know couches. I didn’t know leashes. I didn’t know what it felt like to belong to someone.
I only knew how to survive.
When I first came to Haven, I was scared of everything. The doors. The floors. The outside world. I didn’t even go out for a whole month. It was all just too big.
But then something changed.
I learned taking food from their hands was safe.
I learned hands can pet softly.
I learned brushing feels really, really good — especially when I’m nervous.
Now I go outside multiple times a day. I’m still conquering my fear of the leash, but I’m doing better. I feel safest when I can decide to go out on my own, so a fenced yard would help me a lot. I do need a 6 foot fence!
I’ve even started exploring the living room. Just a little. But for me? That’s huge.
One thing that makes me feel very safe is my kennel. It’s my space. My little world where nothing bad happens. Having a home with a quiet room or a space that can truly be mine — somewhere I can retreat and breathe — would be ideal for me. I do best when I know I have a safe place to land.
I want to trust.
I really do.
You can see it when I look at you. I’m trying to decide if you might be my person. I’m not going to rush into your arms. But if you’re patient… if you give me time… I will bond deeply with you.
I won’t be everyone’s dog.
But I will be someone’s whole heart.
Right now I need a calm home. No kids. No cats. Maybe no other dogs unless they are very quiet and respectful. I need space, patience, and someone who understands that brave doesn’t always look bold. Sometimes brave is just one paw forward.
They’ll give you everything I need. Fostering is free.
What I need most… is someone willing to help me write the next chapter of my life.
If you have a quiet home and a gentle heart, maybe you’re the one I’ve been waiting for.

Iris is 5 years old.
And almost her entire life… she has been waiting for someone to love her.
For the first 4½ years of her life, Iris didn’t know soft beds or warm homes or people who cared. She lived in a filthy garage surrounded by garbage, neglected and abused, surviving day after day in a place no dog should ever have to live.
But even in that awful place… Iris became a mom.
She protected her puppies.
She kept going.
She survived.
And somehow — after everything she endured — she is still sweet.
Still gentle.
Still hopeful.
When Iris first meets you, she might be a little unsure. Life taught her to be careful. But if you give her patience… if you give her kindness… something beautiful happens.
She starts to believe.
Her tail begins to wag.
Her goofy smile appears.
Her silly, playful side comes out like a flower finally blooming after a long winter.
And you realize you’re watching a heart heal right in front of you.
That’s Iris.
A dog who has every reason not to trust… but is brave enough to try again.
And yet, somehow, this beautiful survivor is still waiting.
We’ve had a couple of applications, but they weren’t the right fit for her needs — and after everything Iris has been through, we refuse to let her be let down again.
Because Iris deserves her forever.
She deserves a quiet, loving home where she can finally exhale…
A fenced yard where she can feel the sun on her face…
A cozy bed where she can sleep without fear…
And a person who will show her every single day that she is safe and loved.
Iris’ needs:
• Fenced yard
• Low-traffic home
• No cats
• Calm dogs are okay
• Kids 15+
The right person will understand that dogs like Iris are the most special ones of all — because when a dog who has known hardship finally gives you her heart… it is the purest love you will ever know.
Please… don’t let Iris spend another year waiting.
Be the person who changes the rest of her life.

MEET DOVE
Dove is back… and we learned something important about her.
Sometimes adoptions don’t fail — they teach us what a pet truly needs to be happy. And Dove told us loud and clear.
This beautiful 11-month-old silver girl was adopted, but the tomboy in her came shining through. Dove decided that sharing her kingdom with another cat just wasn’t her style. She’s a little too confident and playful for a feline roommate… and the resident cat agreed.
So Dove is back with us, and now we know exactly what she needs:
A home where she can be the star of the show.
With people? She’s an absolute sweetheart.
She loves pets, will roll over for belly rubs, and turns on the purr motor the second you start giving her attention. Her soft grey coat and bright green eyes make her just as beautiful as she is charming.
But when it comes to other cats… Dove prefers the solo act life. No sharing the spotlight.
And honestly? She’ll thrive that way.
She loves sitting in windows watching the outside world, supervising your daily activities, and soaking up all the affection you’re willing to give. She’s playful, curious, and just the right mix of sweet and spunky.
So if you’ve been looking for one amazing cat to rule your home, Dove is ready to take the job.

MEET GOLDIE
I’m about 8 months old, incredibly smart, and I’ve been told I have “a lot of personality.” Personally, I think everyone else is just a little boring.
I know how to play fetch (which apparently makes me some kind of feline genius), I love toys, and I always have important opinions to share. If you’re looking for a quiet cat that blends into the background, I respectfully suggest you keep scrolling.
Now, before you get the wrong idea, I’m not a Velcro cat. I’m not going to spend every waking moment in your lap. But I am going to be your shadow. Cooking dinner? I’m there. Watching TV? I’m supervising. Working from home? I’ll be conducting quality control.
I get along with cats and dogs too—just give me a little time to make sure they’re worthy of my friendship.
- 8 months old
- Spayed & fully vaccinated
- Smart, playful, and ridiculously cute
- Professional fetch player
- Constant companion without being clingy
Honestly, I’m pretty much the total package.
The only thing missing is my forever family.

MEET IVY
Sometimes I wonder what it feels like to belong to someone.
Not to be the cat that showed up outside. Not to be the cat that was rescued. Not to be the cat waiting for a home.
Just… someone’s cat.
I’m only 9 months old, but I’ve already learned how much a little kindness can change a life. When I was found outside, a kind person took me in because they saw something in me. They saw a sweet, loving girl who just wanted to be safe.
And they were right.
I love snuggling. I love being close to my people. I love the comfort of knowing I’m not alone. I may take a minute to settle into new surroundings, but once I know I’m safe, my heart is all yours.
What I don’t understand is why no one has chosen me yet.
Every day I wait is another day I spend dreaming about a family of my own. A warm spot on the couch. A window to watch the world from. Someone who smiles when they see me and says, “There’s my Ivy.”
I don’t need a perfect home. I just need my home.
I’m spayed, up to date on my vaccines, and negative for FIV and FeLV. I’d do best in a home without dogs, and I may be okay with calm, gentle cats.
If you’ve been thinking about adding a furry best friend to your family, maybe I’ve been waiting for you all along.
Love,
Ivy

MEET MATTY
Eight years. Countless reasons not to trust people... and somehow, Matty is still sweet.
Matty's story is one of the saddest we've ever heard.
She and her tiny kittens were found taped up inside Sam's Club garbage, discarded like they didn't matter. Thankfully, they were found in time... but it's easy to understand why Matty is so shy and scared.
Despite everything she's been through, there isn't a mean bone in her body. She's simply waiting for someone to show her that not all humans will let her down.
At 8 years old, Matty deserves more than a shelter. She deserves soft beds, gentle hands, quiet mornings, and the chance to finally feel safe.
Good with kids, cats, and dogs
Sweet, gentle, and deserving of so much love
If you've ever wanted to change the ending of someone's story, this is your chance.

MEET SHRIMP
I’ve noticed something interesting.
In about 3 months, black cats are going to be all the rage. Suddenly everyone will be posting pictures of us, buying black cat decorations, and talking about how adorable we are.
And that’s great and all…
But please don’t make me wait 3 more precious months for a home.
That’s 3 months of missing out on morning coffee together.
3 months of me supervising your Netflix choices.
3 months of sunny windows, cozy naps, and learning all your routines.
3 months that we could be becoming best friends.
I’ve already waited through life in a scrapyard. I’d really like the next chapter of my story to start now.
And don’t worry—I promise I’ll still be your official Halloween black cat in October.
You just get the bonus months first.
Love,
Shrimp
9 months old • Spayed • UTD • Microchipped • Sweet but a little shy

MEET SOLNYSHKA " LITTLE SUN"
Meet Solnyshka... the little ray of sunshine you've been waiting for!
Her name means "little sun," and it couldn't fit her better.
Solnyshka is the kind of kitten who brightens every room she walks into. She's curious, playful, affectionate, and always ready to chase a toy, investigate something new, or curl up for a cozy nap after a day of adventures.
She has that perfect mix of silly kitten energy and sweet cuddles that will make you smile every single day.
Sweet
Playful
Curious
Ready to find her forever family
If your home could use a little extra sunshine, Solnyshka is ready to move right in.

MEET LILITH
Here’s a sweet little secret about me… my name is Lilith, and I’m still learning that the world isn’t as scary as it sometimes seems.
I’m 2 years old, up to date on all my vet care, and I get along just fine with cats, kids, and dogs. The funny thing is, they’re not what make me nervous. A sudden noise, an unexpected movement, or something unfamiliar can make me jump.
But if you’re calm and patient, you’ll see a different side of me. The side that slowly inches closer. The side that starts to trust. The side that discovers that being loved feels pretty wonderful.
I may not be the cat that comes charging into your home like I own the place, but I might just be the cat that makes every little step forward feel like a huge victory. And when I choose to trust you, it will be because you earned it.
Could you be the person who shows me that the world isn’t so scary after all?

MEET CHARLIE
This gorgeous girl is 2 years old, spayed, microchipped, and up to date on everything. She’s sweet, affectionate, and has mastered the art of being the perfect companion. Charlie loves attention and pets, but she’s not one of those cats that insists on supervising your every move.
She’s the kind of cat that quietly steals your heart.
And if that wasn’t enough, Charlie once stepped in and helped care for kittens that weren’t even her own. That’s just who she is—a gentle soul with a heart full of love.
She has the beauty.
She has the personality.
She has the adorable little “excuse me, where is my forever family?” face.
Now all she needs is a home.

MEET ROWAN
A tiny kitten named Rowan has somehow remained available for adoption, and honestly, we’re starting to think nobody has seen his photos.
Because if you have…
HOW ARE YOU STILL SCROLLING?!
This handsome little guy is about 12 weeks old and has enough personality packed into his tiny body to keep an entire household entertained. Rowan is a professional toy hunter, expert zoomie specialist, and part-time cuddle bug.
And let’s talk about those paws…
Rowan is polydactyl, which means he came equipped with extra toes and bonus cuteness at no additional charge. Those little mitten feet are guaranteed to steal your heart.
But what really makes Rowan special is how much he loves life. Every toy is exciting. Every room is an adventure. Every person is a potential friend. He’s the kind of kitten that reminds you to find joy in the little things.
Sweet
Playful
Curious
Affectionate
Extra toes
Extra cute
Seriously, if kittens could design themselves, they’d probably end up looking a lot like Rowan.
Neutered
Up to date on vaccines
Microchipped
FeLV/FIV negative
Now all this sweet boy needs is a family to share his adventures with.

MEET ASTRA
Some kittens are the life of the party.
Astra would rather be the one curled up beside you after the party is over.
This beautiful little girl is gentle, sweet, and quietly taking in the world around her. Once she feels safe, her playful kitten side starts to shine, and you'll quickly discover just how special she is.
At around 14 weeks old, Astra is ready to leave foster care behind and find the family she's been waiting for.
Spayed
Up to date on vaccines
Combo tested
Microchipped
Ready for her forever home
If you're looking for a kitten who will grow into a loyal companion and fill your home with purrs, cuddles, and unconditional love, Astra just might be your perfect match.
